Menopause Stage

We use the STRAW staging system, which is considered the gold standard for classifying reproductive ageing through menopause.

Menopause stage is mainly determined by your menstrual cycle. If you have never had a regular menstrual cycle (e.g. you have PCOS), you use or have had treatments that interfere with your period (e.g. the pill, hysterectomy) then it may be difficult to ascertain your stage based on questions alone.

You can still complete this assessment which also includes a symptom severity score.

OK, in that case, we'll start with some questions to double-check what stage you are likely to be in.

Please answer all questions.

It looks like you are already taking action on your menopause symptoms - which is great!

The next step is to further explore any ongoing symptoms you may still be having.

Based on your answers, it looks like you could be in

Early Perimenopause .

Your score provides an indication of your symptom severity. Please keep in mind that not all symptoms are necessarily due to perimenopause or menopause, and other factors may contribute. Additionally, symptoms can vary in how they respond to treatments like menopausal hormone therapy (MHT).

We recommend discussing your results with a healthcare professional to better understand your symptoms and explore the most effective options for you.
